It’s wonderful to think back to you and mum and your way of loving each other.
We didn’t always understand it but now more than ever we know that you had the privilege of living an extraordinary love story, never banal, never indifferent and for these reasons exceptional.
After all, the exceptional is seldom met on easy and flat paths: passion needs continuous renewal and, in the light of this reflection, even your quarrels, your clashes were nothing more than falling in love again: perhaps it was all intentional, because soon after you were like two new lovers!!
As Goethe, one of your favorite authors, wrote in his Elective Affinities “To witness two lovers is a spectacle for the Gods”. You really were a spectacle for the Gods and we are happy to be the fruit of your wonderful Love”.
