“The Beauty of Grappa Featuring Elisabetta Nonino”
Canada – For the first time in its history since 1927, the year of the foundation, LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario, whose stores are the only ones authorized to sell distillates in Ontario) dedicates a tasting evening to Grappa, thus highlighting the excellence of Grappa Nonino, which is offered to Canadian appraisers after tasting Dom Pérignon and great Whiskeys.
“The Beauty of Grappa walk-around Tasting and Dinner” was led by Elisabetta Nonino who told the main points of the family’s history and underlined the uniqueness of Nonino grappas.
The rich menu besides Grappa Monovitigno® Picolit, Merlot, Moscato, ÙE® Grape Distillate Cabernet Franc, Uvarossa, ÙE® 25th Anniversary Monovitigno Riserva aged in barrique, Acacia Honey Gioiello®, presented also the Nonino Collection Nonino ÙE® Grape Distillate Cru Monovitigno® Picolit, an example of “high spirit craftsmanship” that joins the Nonino Family’s art of Distillation with Venini’s glass making tradition.
